Helisoma + Whoop

Whoop knows your recovery. Now give it your genetics.

Whoop Coach already sees your daily recovery, strain, and sleep. Attach your Helisoma report in a Coach chat and it can weigh today’s readiness against your actual genetics: caffeine clearance, chronotype, recovery leans, injury-relevant markers.

How it works

STEP 01

Get your Helisoma report

Upload your raw DNA file. Your browser reads it on your device and only the markers the report uses are sent. Free analysis first, $49 once for the full report.

STEP 02

Attach it in a Whoop Coach chat

Save the report PDF to your phone, open Whoop Coach from Your Daily Outlook, attach the file, and paste our short context message. Needs an active Whoop membership with Coach.

STEP 03

Ask with your whole picture

Coach answers with both streams at once: what your body did in the last 30 days and what your genetics lean toward. Re-attach the PDF when you start a fresh conversation.

Then you just ask

No re-uploading, no explaining your genetics from scratch. Your assistant already has the report, so questions sound like this:

YouMy recovery is 40% today. Given my DNA report, should I push through or swap to zone 2?
YouFrom my genetics and my last month of sleep data, when should my last coffee be?
YouPlan my training week: two hard sessions, and my report says my recovery leans slow.
YouMy HRV has been flat for two weeks. What in my report is worth checking, and what is probably just load?

The honest part

Whoop Coach reads the attached PDF per conversation. There is no permanent link, so you re-attach the report when you start a new chat. It is one tap, and the report does not change after analysis.
Your report goes to Whoop under Whoop’s own privacy policy. Attach it only if you are comfortable with that, and review Whoop’s data settings. The raw DNA file itself never left your device.
Common variants are small leans, not verdicts. The report states effect sizes honestly, and the context message tells Coach to do the same. Anything clinical belongs with a doctor, not a chatbot.

Questions people ask

What do I need on the Whoop side?

An active Whoop membership with Whoop Coach available in the mobile app. Coach is Whoop’s built-in AI and currently rolls out as a beta feature.

Does Whoop get my raw DNA file?

No. You attach the finished report PDF. The raw file was read by your browser on your own device and never uploaded anywhere.

Why attach it every conversation?

Whoop Coach reads files per chat rather than keeping a permanent connection. The report is a single small PDF, so re-attaching takes one tap.

Is this medical advice?

No. The report is educational, states effect sizes honestly, and anything clinical belongs with a doctor.
